THIS TRIP INCLUDES AN AMAZING TRAIN EXCURSION INTO CANADA'S SUBARCTIC, FOLLOWED BY ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCES WITH CHURCHILL'S POLAR BEARS.

This Churchill adventure allows you to experience the excitement of polar bear viewing from an official Tundra Buggy, as well as enjoy the eclectic charm of this unique Northern town.

The trip includes two full-day Tundra Buggy Safaris on the tundra of the Churchill Wildlife Management Area, where polar bears await the freezing of the Hudson Bay. You'll spend plenty of time watching these majestic mammals, and other arctic wildlife, in their natural environment. Your tour operators and guides are passionate about conservation and have a long-lasting relationship with Polar Bears International. You also have a dog-sledding adventure ride and education about the Churchill area.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrive Winnipeg
Arrive into Winnipeg on your own and check into your hotel. You have a free day to explore Winnipeg before an evening meet and greet with your tour representative. Overnight Winnipeg.

Day 2 - Train from Winnipeg
Explore the area before you board VIA Rail this afternoon to travel more than 1,000 miles north through Manitoba toward Hudson Bay. Overnight train. (B, L, D)

Day 3 – From Prairie to Tundra
Continue your journey toward Churchill and enjoy the incredible scenery outside your window. Today you'll have a long stop in Thompson, the "Hub of the North” before continuing your rail journey. Overnight train. (B, L, D)

Day 4 - Arrive Churchill
Wake up in the subarctic as Churchill greets you on your morning arrival. Enjoy a tour of this town including a visit to the Churchill Eskimo Museum. Overnight Churchill. (B, L, D)

Day 5 – Tundra Buggy Adventure
Today embark on a full-day Tundra Buggy excursion in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area. Enjoy this amazing search for polar bears and other arctic wildlife while your expert guide informs you about the area's geology and history. Take in a picnic lunch on the buggy as you watch wildlife in their natural habitat and capture amazing pictures. Wrap up this adventure with a warm dinner back in town. Overnight Churchill. Day 6 – Dog Sledding Excursion
Take part in an amazing dog sled program that includes incredible dog sledding stories and a mile-long dog sled ride. Then visit the Parks Canada Interpretive Centre to learn about the historical significance of Churchill. Overnight Churchill. (B, L, D)

Day 7 – Final Tundra Buggy Adventure
Gear up for your second full-day Tundra Buggy excursion in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area. As your day comes to an end, so does your time in Churchill. This evening you will be transferred back to the Churchill airport for your included flight to Winnipeg. Upon arrival in Winnipeg check into your airport hotel. Overnight Winnipeg. (B, L, D)
