ITINERARYDay 1 - Arrive Chicago
Welcome to the Second City! Upon your arrival to Chicago, transfer on your own to your hotel. Enjoy a hop-on/hop-off tour of the city's best-known landmarks. Overnight Chicago.
Day 2 - Amtrak
You have the morning free to explore Chicago before making your way to Union Station for you 2:15 pm departure. Settle into your onboard accommodations and prepare for you journey west to Seattle! Be sure to take advantage of the Sightseer Lounge and Dining Car, where you'll be able to mingle with other passengers and take in the passing scenery. Overnight train.
Day 3 - Amtrak
You have a full day on the train to relax and admire the diversity of the American West's beautiful landscape. Winding through the Rocky Mountains and crossing wide open plains, you'll see Colorado's snow-capped peaks, Montana's dense forests, and the Martian landscape of Eastern Washington. Overnight train.
Day 4 - Arrive Seattle
Arrive in Seattle this morning, and transfer independently to your centrally-located hotel. You have the entire day free to get acquainted with the city. Overnight Seattle.
Day 5 - Seattle
On today's hop-on/hop-off tour of Seattle (seasonal), you'll explore the best that the Emerald City has to offer. This evening, take a stroll along the waterfront or have dinner in one of the city's quirky, distinct neighborhoods. Don't miss the opportunity to grab a pint at one of the city's many microbreweries! Overnight Seattle.
Day 6 - Seattle to Victoria
Today, board the Victoria Clipper ferry. You'll arrive in the heart of downtown Victoria at the city's Inner Harbour. Spend the rest of the day exploring Victoria on your own. This quaint city has a distinctly British feel. Overnight Victoria.
Day 7 - Victoria
Today, you'll enjoy a Hop-on Hop-off tour, on which you'll see the best of Victoria's natural and architectural delights. The tour includes a stop at the Oak Bay Marina, where you'll have an entirely unique photo opportunity with the wild seals who hang around the docks. Overnight Victoria.
Day 8 - Victoria to Vancouver
Transfer from Victoria to Vancouver by ferry. Kick off your time in Vancouver by renting a bike and riding along the Seawall in Stanley Park, or grab a bite to eat at one of the city's many acclaimed restaurants - Vancouver has arguably the best Asian food in North America. Overnight Vancouver.
Day 9 - Vancouver
Today's hop-on/hop-off tour of Vancouver will take you to the city's must-see sights. You'll visit a number of notable spots, including Granville Island, an exciting shopping area, Stanley Park, and Vancouver's Chinatown - one of the largest in North America. Spend your last evening getting to know one of Vancouver's colorful neighborhoods and sampling the fresh local cuisine. Overnight Vancouver.
